The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and
Biotechnology (ICGEB), established in 1983, is an international, intergovernmental Organisation conceived as a Centre of excellence for research, training and technology transfer to industry in the field of biotechnology to promote sustainable global development. The Centre conducts innovative research in life sciences and strengthens the research capability of its over 60 Member States. Located in Trieste (Italy), New Delhi (India) and Cape Town (South Africa), the three ICGEB Components provide a scientific and educational environment of the highest international standards. ICGEB-Delhi with its proximity to the New Delhi International Airport is best suited to be the host for GATC 2024 with its lush green campus and state of the art conference facilities.

Flight
You may take any flight from your city to Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport to reach New-Delhi.
Train
There are well connected trains available from all cities to New-Delhi Railway Station. New delhi is well connected with metro lines, New delhi metro station on yellow line is the nearest metro station for NDLS, Gate no.1 of metro station is only 1 minute far from the exit gate of railway station.
Bus
Bus Route No. 604 (from NDLS Gate No. 2), 424, 539, 62, 615. Bus Route No. 717B (from Airport T2 to ISIC Hospital and 424 to ICSSR stoppage), 534A. Please correspond to the breakpoints of buses.
Metro
RK Puram is the closest Metro Station for ICGEB on the Magenta line. You can avail the metro service from NDLS using the skywalk to reach New Delhi Metro Station on the Yellow Line. The Airport Metro Station is an underground station located on the Airport Express Line also known as Orange Line of the Delhi Metro.
Cab / Taxi
Prepaid taxis are available from both IGI Airport and NDLS. Ola/Uber or private cab services are also readily available from the Airport & Railway Station.
