Bioinformatics Workshop on RNASeq Data Analysis (10th to 13th January 2018)

Next generation sequencing (NGS) platforms have enabled sequencing of all RNAs (coding and non coding) present in any organism. This method generates high volume and complex data to qualitatively and quantitatively study transcriptomes. `READemption’ pipeline developed by Dr Konrad Foerstner, Institute of Molecular & Infectious Biology, Würzburg, Germany, will be used in the workshop as an easy-to-use open source software tool to rapidly and comprehensively analyze RNA Seq data.

The course is open to young scientists, PhD & Research Associates who has worked on NGS experiments or planning to start soon.

*Participants are encouraged to get their own laptop for the workshop with a minimum memory of RAM 8Gb
